Measures to Prevent the Spread and Proliferation of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum is gathering the latest information from the national health authorities regarding new coronavirus infections (COVID-19).
All visitors are asked to take the following steps to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and other illness.
Measures to Prevent the Spread and Proliferation of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
a. Before entering the building, visitors will be examined with a thermographic device or non-contact infrared thermometer. Those running a fever (37.5 degrees Celsius or higher), displaying cold-like symptoms such as a cough or sore throat, or in poor physical health are kindly asked to refrain from entering the museum.
b. Access to the museum will be limited to a single location in the entrance lobby.
c. We ask that you carefully disinfect your hands using the hand soap in any of the restrooms or the disinfectants that can be found in various places throughout the building.
d. Please maintain an appropriate distance from other visitors when entering the museum and while viewing the works in the galleries.
e. If you feel unwell while in the museum, please notify the staff.
f. To avoid congestion in the museum, it may be necessary to limit the number of visitors.
Preventative Measures Taken by the Staff
a. Places such as doorknobs and handrails, which are touched by a large number of visitors, will be specially cleaned using disinfectants and other agents.
b. An external-air circulation system will be used at all times to ventilate the building.
c. Anti-droplet panels have been installed at the reception desks (on the 1st and and 2nd floor) and other places where the staff comes into direct contact with visitors.
